Steph & Matt’s Gum Gully Farm Intimate Wedding

Weddings are back in full swing baby! It has literally felt like such a long time I had been to a wedding, and what better way of getting back into it with the beautifully simple and short wedding of Steph and Matt at the always sublime Gum Gully Farm in Silvan. This soiree was yet another postponed wedding from earlier in the year, but the wait was worth it as these folks looked radiant with a baby on the way.

It was a nice and intimate setting of only just 16 people, which gave a super relaxed feel for the whole day. I also had to share with you the little first look with Steph’s dad Ray, it was positively heart warming when his face lit up when he turned around to see his beautiful daughter in her wedding dress with a grand baby on the way. The look and laughter of joy when they fed the ducks and geese from their hands just made my day, as they pecked away furiously at the feed, along with them looking like absolute supermodels of course.

We had lucky access to the hill on the neighboring property for part of their shoot session because the cloud formations looked wild with storm that had been threatening all day. But the biggest reason you come to here to get married is get a photo amongst the deer, they were coaxed of course with food! That’s basically how I operate too!
