Katherine & Adam’s MacArthur & Port Fairy Wedding

The barrage of weddings still keep coming, and on a Wednesday of all days, we celebrate the long awaited union of friends and family for Katherine and Adam’s wedding. This one was an extra special one, you see, they are both from Perth, and unfortunately Emperor Gowan (their term, not mine haha) hasn’t given anyone much opportunity to leave the state, then come back without the painful thought of quarantine or the risk of being totally locked out (until now). Around four postponements and two years later, they have put together such an incredible wedding while being on the other side of the country purely by phone and email. All the suppliers banded together to make sure they had the dream wedding on Adam’s parent’s property in the cute little country town of MacArthur, one hour North West of Warrnambool.

The setting was perfect, the farm’s gardens beautifully presented, the smoke of an open firepit, sheep running around and no neighbours to bother with the awesome tunes played live by The White Tree Band. These two as you can see are freakin gorge, straight out of a bridal magazine. Katherine was wearing Theia Couture and Adam, MJ Bale.

I can’t thank these two enough to have me along, they put their trust in me, for what has felt like an eternity ago to make the journey from Melbourne and shoot some epic pictures of them. I hope to return to the area again for hopefully a getaway or maybe another wedding? Maybe they can help crack the Perth market, I have been wanting to do that for a couple of years, but Emperor Mark hasn’t been able to let me in!

And side note, Bridget Harkin that did the celebrant duties was a super star, she delivered a service better than some seasoned pros I have seen and I wish her well on her new venture as an officiant.
