A sunday morning wedding for Emma and Leigh at (a first for me) Greenfields in Albert Park surrounded by the palm trees and lake in one of Melbourne’s finest locations. They aimed to have a simple and elegant affair, perfect for their huge family and friends guestlist to celebrate alongside them. They decided to go indoors due to the impending storm, with the chairs comically skating across the deck in the wind as the celebrant made note of that right down to the second. No matter as we are here to celebrate the love of these two and the beautiful little family they have created. Our shoot session was cut short by the heavens opening up and the rain bucketing down, but these two lovebirds were troopers as I ran backwards trying to snap pics as we ran for cover. The umbrellas bought for the occasion were no match for the wind, along with any hairspray employed for the day and in true Melbourne form, the sun came out I was driving home.

Tell me about the beginning!

We met NYE 2020 at a brewery. Soon went into lockdown fast forward 6mths and our gorgeous boy was on his way!

When and where did you get engaged?

We got engaged two years later on NYE when our boy was 10ths old.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day? Feel free to elaborate about your choices and venue.

Simple elegant, minimal.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Seeing each other at the end of the aisle and getting married in front of all our family and friends.
