Vanessa & Chris’ Stones of the Yarra Valley Wedding
Elegantly Styled Wedding at one of the Yarra Valley’s most prolific venues
Vanessa and Chris’ journey commenced in Croatia, during an utterly serendipitous trip. Destiny intervened on the auspicious 14th of July of that year, aligning their separate voyages along the stunning Croatian coast and affording them to keep bumping into each other as the cruises often would land at the same time and place. Although their European romance might have concluded, fate had other plans, orchestrating their reunion amidst the captivating Greek islands of Mykonos. Their time together, spanning almost a fortnight, created lasting memories before Chris embarked on his extensive three-month European exploration, while Vanessa journeyed homeward.
Geographical distance posed no obstacle to their connection, as they sustained their communication virtually across continents. Chris even surprised Vanessa with an exquisite bouquet of red roses on her 21st birthday – I mean, that’s legendary man. Eventually, Chris returned to Melbourne, heralding the eagerly awaited face-to-face reunion that would shape what was to come.
The tale of their engagement unfurled on Christmas Eve. Set against the backdrop of Chris's new home, the couple decided to host their families for the first time, encapsulating the spirit of togetherness. A cleverly arranged "Kris Kringle" game took a surprising turn as Chris bestowed the honor upon Vanessa. In the company of their loved ones, a carefully crafted card with the question, "Will you marry me?" Emotions flowed freely, and amidst tears of sheer happiness, there was a resounding "YES."
As the anticipation mounts in the lead-up to their wedding day, a culmination of their love and resilience, particularly in the face of the challenges posed by the pandemic, both Vanessa and Chris look forward to uniting their families. This celebration of unity will be set against the picturesque backdrop of "The Stones of the Yarra Valley," a venue renowned for its natural splendor and breathtaking views.
A valuable lesson that their journey has imparted is to relinquish stress over minor details; inevitably, every element aligned harmoniously.
